Transfer e-books to your e-reading device

You'll find links to all your purchased books when you click on "My library" at the right of this page.

TRANSFERRING E-BOOKS TO THE AMAZON KINDLE

First, make sure you downloaded the correct version (Mobipocket) and know where the e-book file ("vdexx - yyyymmdd.prc") is on your hard drive. You now have two options to transfer the book to your Kindle:

1. Connect the Kindle to your computer using a USB cable. If you don't have a USB cable, you can either buy a suitable one or use option #2. After the Kindle is connected to your computer, the Kindle will appear as an additional hard drive (both on Mac and PC). Locate the unzipped .PRC file and drag it to the Kindle's "documents" folder. After the copy operation is complete, you then right-click on the Kindle "hard drive" in Explorer and choose "Eject" from the popup menu. This gracefully disconnects the Kindle. On a Mac, simply click the cross behind the Kindle hard drive name in Finder and wait until the Kindle disappears from the list. After that, you can safely disconnect the USB cable from your computer. Please note that books loaded onto your Kindle in this manner will not show up in the "Books" section on your Kindle, but will show up under "Documents".

2. Email the e-book to your Kindle Email Address. This will store your e-book in the Amazon cloud and after connecting your Kindle to the internet, will download the book to your device automatically.
